On February 11, 2023, numerous graduates of the final year 2022, together with their families, accepted the invitation from the Department of Biology. Over 300 guests attended the event and the presentation of the certificates in lecture hall H11 on Cauerstrasse. The band “Saxophone Connection<\/a>” underlined the celebrations musically.<\/p>\n

Among the three Master’s graduates from the Department of Biology who were particularly honored was Lisa Koch from the Chair of Biochemistry, who received a Master’s prize worth 400 euros for her outstanding academic achievements.<\/p>\n

In addition, Lisa Koch received the award for the best plant science master’s thesis<\/a> that was created at the Friedrich-Alexander-University Erlangen-Nuremberg (FAU) in 2022 from the German Botanical Society. She completed her master’s thesis entitled “Influence of heat and different nitrogen concentrations on the growth and development of potato plant<\/a>s” in the working group of Dr. Sophia Sonnewald.<\/p>\n
